If you've been eagerly awaiting the return of the Apple TV+ hit "Severance," there's good news and bad news: Season two is definitely in the pipeline, yet its release timeline remains a mystery. During an appearance on The Roommates Show, Ben Stiller, the visionary behind the series, shared that production is ongoing, with filming expected to wrap up in April. However, an official release date for the next installment of the dystopian thriller remains undecided.

"We are currently shooting, and it's on the way," Stiller remarked. "But we're still not sure when it will be released."

Stiller also highlighted that the production faced setbacks due to the strikes by the writers' union and SAG-AFTRA. After a hiatus, "Severance" resumed production in January. The series, which delves into the life of Mark Scout (Adam Scott) and his experiences at Lumon Industries with their work-life memory separation procedure, was greenlit for a second season in April 2022 after a lauded first season that garnered 14 Emmy nominations and multiple awards.
